How is the pricing structured?

We're in private beta and pricing isn't locked yet. Reach out to talk numbers — beta crews get early-access terms in exchange for feedback and being a reference customer. There are no public price tiers while we're in beta.

Who owns the data?

You do. Your photos, ratings, write-ups, and finished PDFs are yours. We only use them to run the service for you — we don't sell your data and we don't train any AI on your photos. If you ever want a copy of everything you've captured, just ask and we'll sort out an export with you.

Technical & security details — your data is stored on secure servers in Sydney, Australia. Each customer's data is kept completely separate from every other customer's, and all photos and files are private — only people on your account can reach them.

Does it work offline?

Yes — completely. Photos, ratings, checklists, and notes all save on the phone and upload the moment reception is back. Plant rooms, roof spaces, basements, regional jobs — all fine. We built this for techs who routinely lose signal for hours.

The office side needs an internet connection (it's where reports are reviewed and created), but anything a tech captures offline flows in as soon as they're back online.

What happens when two techs are on the same job?

The phone app shows you who else is on the same job right now, so you can split the work between you. If you both end up photographing the same thing, no problem — the office sees all the photos and picks the best ones for the report. Each tech's work shows up for the others within a few seconds.

Can I customise the report branding?

Yes — your logo (a main one and a second one), your main and accent colours, your heading font (from a built-in set), and your footer text. If you need something more involved — custom layouts, bespoke cover pages, or more than one brand — we'll build a custom report template for you.

What platforms are supported?

ServiceM8 is the platform we support during the private beta. AroFlo, Simpro, FieldEdge, and ServiceTitan are on the way — see Onboarding for where each one is up to and how to ask for a beta spot.

Does the AI write my reports?

No — you write the report. The only AI is a voice feature in the phone app: on site, a tech can speak instead of type, and it turns their words into the name, rating, and note for what they're photographing. That's it. Everything lands in the office for someone to review and edit, and nothing is written up or sent on the AI's say-so.

How does the Certificate of Compliance work?

For report templates that include one, the Certificate of Compliance is created as part of the PDF. Each one gets a unique number (re-creating the report keeps the same number), shows the relevant standards and ratings, and is signed off in the office before the PDF is created. The number format can be set to suit your business.

What about photo information and the activity record?

The time a photo was taken is saved against it. We remove the hidden location and camera information that phones bundle into photos — so a photo's GPS location and camera details aren't kept. We don't collect your location at all.

Every action — photos, ratings, sign-offs — is recorded in an activity log showing who did what and when, so there's a clear trail.

Technical & security details — we strip EXIF data from stored images (keeping only the right-way-up orientation), so location and camera details aren't embedded or stored alongside the photo. We record a one-way hashed version of the IP address rather than the real one, so your raw IP address is never stored.

What information do you collect about how I use the app? Do you record my screen?

We'll be straight with you: yes, we use analytics, and that currently includes session recordings on both the office side and the phone app. It's there so we can reproduce bugs and see where people get stuck — not to watch individuals. We block the sensitive stuff: anything you type is hidden, and photos are blocked from the recordings. If you'd rather we didn't record your account at all, just ask.

Technical & security details — analytics and session replay run through PostHog (US region by default). All text inputs are masked, request/response bodies and headers aren't captured (so captions, location data, and sign-in tokens never enter a recording), and photo previews are blocked. Analytics identities are pseudonymous. We can turn replay off for your account on request.

How long do I wait for the PDF?

Under five minutes for almost every job we've tested, including 450-photo hospital audits. A typical 30-item clean comes back in under a minute. It mostly depends on how many photos there are.

What if my crew isn't great with tech?

The phone app is built on the assumption that whoever's holding the phone might be doing this for the first time, on a wet roof, in winter. The whole job is "tap a thing, hit the big button, take photos, pick a rating from a colour grid". There's voice-to-text for notes if typing on a phone isn't your thing. If a tech can take photos, they can use this.
